Vampires the New Birth

Intro

 

 

"Through my seductive tone alone, people have offered me their bodies.

 

I've wandered the dark labyrinth of the city, witnessing the cruel underworld ruling our society.

 

Ancient, powerful killers have casted their gaze against me, yet I've learned not to look away.

 

The pulse of far too many hearts were stopped by my bare hands.

 

I've looked into the mirror many times, but could only recognize myself in memory alone. 

 

Some call what I bear a gift. Others, the most sadistic of curses.

 

Yet, whatever I am, I am unwanted.

 

Birth is not our choice. And in my case, neither was the "new birth."
